Hi! I’m Leslie, co-founder, CEO, and editor-in-chief of Indy Maven, a lifestyle media company and community for women, by women in Central Indiana. I’m also the co-founder and CEO of Maven Space, a femme-powered coworking space, event venue, and social club.
Before launching Indy Maven and Maven Space, I worked as a freelance writer and editor and held roles including managing editor of AAA Crossroads magazine, lifestyle editor at Indianapolis Monthly magazine, and “The Adventuress” columnist for the Indianapolis Star. In 2021, I was listed in the first class of the Forbes Next 1000, and in 2022, I was named one of Indiana’s Most Influential Leaders by Indiana Business Journal.
I am a former board member and longstanding volunteer at Coburn Place: A Safe Haven for survivors of intimate partner violence. I live on the northwest side of Indianapolis with my husband, 6-year-old and 3-year-old sons, a 14-year-old bonus son, a slobbery Bullmastiff, and a giant Neapolitan Mastiff puppy.
